Morph 4K Analog Bridge Pre-orders

Pre-orders for the Morph Analog Bridge are finally open for early adopters of the Morph 4K! If you’re unaware, this module adds analog video support to the Morph 4K, allowing you to upscale any of your retro consoles to glorious 4K! You should have received an email from us. Check your spam folders for that bad boy, it contains a unique coupon code that enables you to place a preorder on our site. To clarify, “early adopter” means anyone who ordered a Morph before June 24th 2024.

If you ordered from VGP or Stone Age Gamer check your email for instructions on how to purchase and obtain the coupon code. Note that this is a pre-order. We’re expecting to start shipping modules in mid-April.

Not an early adopter? Don’t despair! We’ve ordered extra modules and sales will open to all by the end of next month.

Don’t miss out–check your email and secure your pre-order today!

Analog Bridge Connector Cards Explained

When pre-ordering the Analog Bridge, you’ll choose one of three interchangeable connector cards. These connector cards plug into the Analog Bridge and let you customize the specific input video connectors on your Morph. Each card has an 'A' and a 'B' input, letting you connect two different consoles or video sources at once. Currently, there are three available connector cards:

  • Dual VGA (with S-Video and Composite ports on the B input)

  • SCART and Component (with S-Video port on the B input)

  • VGA and Component (with S-Video port on the B input)

Each card features a 3.5 mm audio jack on the B input for analog sound, which also supports digital SPDIF/Toslink.

These connector cards only determine your Analog Bridge’s physical connectors. All video connectors (VGA, SCART, and Component) can handle various signal types via specific pins. For example, VGA can accept Composite video on the Green and HSync pins, while SCART can also support multiple signals depending on your setup.

Don’t stress about your choice—more connector cards will be available later if you want to switch. We’re planning new options like a BNC card (used in PVMs and Extron Crosspoints), and we’ll share the specs so the community can design custom cards too!

Pick the card that matches your setup today, and get ready to enjoy your retro games with flexibility for the future!

OSD Changes for Analog Input

We’re enhancing the Morph’s on-screen display (OSD)—the menu you see on your screen—with new settings that let you easily select your analog port and input type. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store!

The new Input Select screen allows you to select your input source from the Morph’s available ports, including the analog options (Port A and Port B) and the HDMI port:

Selecting a port opens a menu where you can pick your input type, such as Composite, S-Video, or Component:

The Input Settings page, currently in development, will let you fine-tune your analog input. Adjust settings like number of samples, image cropping (shown as DE or Data Enable), and more:

These OSD upgrades will be polished and ready when the Analog Bridge ships, making it a breeze to enjoy your analog setups in stunning quality! We can’t wait to hear your feedback about the Analog Bridge, we’ll have more updates for you soon!
